About The Playground Surf House
The Playground Surf House is a cozy, family-run surf camp in Tamraght, just minutes from Taghazout on Morocco's Atlantic coast. Your hosts, Selim and Kenza, are brother and sister raised in the Taghazout area, where the ocean has shaped their lives. Selim brings more than 20 years of surf experience, including competing professionally and teaching at renowned surf schools in the south of France. Together they know every local break, tide and wind by heart, and their mission is simple: share their surf knowledge, keep surf culture alive and make every guest feel at home. With only 4 rooms and a maximum of 10 guests, the house stays intimate and convivial. Small groups mean better progress, fewer people in the line-up and a truly personalised experience in and out of the water. Every day our coaches choose the best spot for your level according to swell, tides and wind, and drive you there. A typical day includes a surf lesson (theory and practice) in the morning, a picnic lunch on the beach and a supervised surf session in the afternoon, with tips to help you become independent. We also teach surf etiquette and ocean awareness, so your new skills last long after your stay. Choose the package that suits you: Surf, Surf + Yoga (classes at Kalananda, the first yoga studio in Morocco, set in a peaceful permaculture garden), Surf Guiding for experienced surfers travelling with their own boards, or Surf Development with filmed sessions and video analysis to take your surfing to the next level. Packages include airport transfer from Agadir Al Massira, surf equipment (soft-top or hardboard, wetsuit, leash) where applicable, transport to the surf spots, Moroccan breakfast, a packed lunch for the beach and home-cooked Moroccan dinners every night except Sunday, so you can discover a local restaurant. After the waves, unwind on our rooftop terrace with ocean views and share sunsets with new friends. Tamraght is a charming village between the Atlas mountains and the Atlantic, known for its warm hospitality, fresh seafood, tajines, hammams, souks and consistent waves for every level. Fibre-optic Wi-Fi, ensuite bathrooms, bedding, towels and beach towels are provided. Come for the waves, stay for the vibe!

House Rules
• Quiet hours after 11 pm – surf days start early! • No alcohol on the premises. • Smoking outdoors only, never inside the rooms. • No pets, no parties or events. • Please rinse your wetsuit after each session and store surfboards in the board storage area. • Respect surf etiquette and follow your coach's instructions in the water. • Check-out before 12:00 on departure day.
